Nuevo Baztán Town Council once again presents its special Christmas programme of activities, “In Search of Christmas in Nuevo Baztán”, which will take place between 19 December and 5 January. A proposal designed for everyone, with music, shows, traditions and opportunities to come together that will fill our municipality with light and a festive atmosphere. 

The programme will kick off on Friday 19 December, at 7:00 pm, with the traditional Christmas Concert at the Church of San Francisco Javier, performed by the Cervantina Philharmonic Orchestra of the 25 Villas.
Under the title “Symphonic Fantasy: A Christmas Tale”, the orchestra will offer a repertoire specially prepared for this time of year. At the end, attendees can enjoy a hot chocolate courtesy of the orchestra. 

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 December, the main weekend of “In Search of Christmas” will be celebrated, with a wide range of activities for all audiences.
Activities will begin on Saturday 20 at 11:00 am in Plaza del Secreto, located in the Historic Complex, and will run until 3:00 pm on Sunday 21. 

Throughout the weekend, residents and visitors will be able to stroll around the Christmas Palace Market, a space full of festive atmosphere that will include: 

• Street parade and roving entertainment 
• Puppet shows 
• Creative workshops for all ages 
• Live music and Christmas parades 
• Storytelling and family activities 
• A delicious hot chocolate with churros as evening falls 
• A spectacular fire show to close Saturday’s programme 

The youngest visitors will be able to visit the Christmas House on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, where they will experience magical moments with the arrival of Santa Claus, always one of the most eagerly awaited encounters for families. 

From the Youth Department, the Town Council has organised: 

• A solidarity food collection drive to support the Henares Corridor Food Bank.  
• A Christmas trip to Parque Warner, open to young people from the municipality to enjoy the park’s special festive atmosphere at this time of year. 

As every year, the grand finale will arrive on 5 January with the long-awaited Three Kings’ Afternoon, which will take place in the courtyard of Juan de Goyeneche Palace. A heart-warming event in which children can experience up close the arrival of Their Majesties the Three Kings. 

Nuevo Baztán Town Council invites all residents to take part and enjoy this extensive Christmas programme, designed to share with the family, strengthen our traditions and fill the streets of the municipality with magic.
