On 20 June, Nuevo Baztán will once again take part in La Noche Romántica, an initiative promoted by the association Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España (The Most Beautiful Villages of Spain), which each year transforms some of the country’s most enchanting locations into settings for unforgettable experiences for residents and visitors alike.

For this year’s edition, Nuevo Baztán Town Council has prepared a special programme under the theme “Enchanted Romantic Night”, designed to be enjoyed with family, friends or as a couple in the unique surroundings of the gardens of Plaza de la Iglesia, opposite the Juan de Goyeneche Palace.

The event will also coincide with a special edition of the traditional Palace Market, which will open throughout the afternoon and evening and remain active until 1:00 am, offering visitors a unique experience beneath the stars.

The programme begins at 7:00 pm with the opening of the Romantic Area, where visitors can enjoy a themed photo opportunity and take part in one of the event’s most symbolic activities: the Wish Tree. Participants will be invited to write a wish on a heart-shaped card and hang it on this magical tree. At the end of the evening, the wishes will be ceremonially burned in a special performance, symbolically sending them on their journey to the sky.

At 8:00 pm, one of the most entertaining moments of the evening will arrive with a lively Musical Bingo, featuring romantic songs, prizes and surprises for participants.

At the same time, a Floral Accessories Workshop will invite children and adults to create flower crowns, bracelets and headbands to wear throughout the celebration.

The festivities continue at 9:00 pm with the themed treasure hunt “Cupid’s Arrows”, an interactive activity featuring challenges and games designed for couples, families and groups of friends.

As night falls, at 10:00 pm, the gardens will become the stage for a spectacular show combining fire, light and music, accompanied by the emotional burning of the wishes collected throughout the day.

The evening will conclude with music and dancing from 11:00 pm until 1:00 am, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a truly memorable night in one of the most beautiful historic sites in the Madrid region.
