Nuevo Baztán accompanies local author Luz Nogués at the presentation of the book “Los agotes del Baztán”. 

Nuevo Baztán Town Council attended the presentation of the book “Los agotes del Baztán”, by local author Luz Nogués, held at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid.  

Representing the municipality were Ignacio Espinosa, acting mayor, and the Tourism Technician, Isabel González. Marta Fernández also attended on behalf of the Navarra Cultural Association. 

In her work, Luz Nogués takes readers on a journey through the period of construction and genesis of Nuevo Baztán, guiding them by the hand of the agotes, to whom she pays tribute and restores a leading role in history. 

Anyone interested in delving deeper into this fascinating story will have another chance to hear from the author on Thursday the 18th at 6:00 pm, at Goyeneche Palace, where Nogués will share curiosities about her research and her creative process, in the very residence of the novel’s protagonist.
