The Nuevo Baztán Town Council informs users of the website about its policy regarding the processing and protection of personal data of users and clients that may be collected through browsing or contracting services via its website. For what purpose are personal data processed?

The Nuevo Baztán Town Council processes the information provided through this website for the following purposes:

  • To answer any questions and comments submitted through the contact form.
  • Communication with users via messaging applications.
  • To carry out the administrative management of website users.

The Nuevo Baztán Town Council will not, under any circumstances, process personal data for purposes other than those indicated above, except for any further processing authorised by the applicable regulations.

Will commercial information be sent?

At no time will the Nuevo Baztán Town Council use the information provided by the user and/or collected through the website to send commercial information. If personal data were to be used for this purpose, the Town Council would request the user’s explicit consent, in accordance with the current data protection regulations and their legal basis.

How long will personal data be kept?

The personal data provided will be kept for as long as an administrative relationship is maintained or until you request the deletion of your personal data, without prejudice to the periods necessary to comply with the legal obligations applicable to the Town Council.

Subsequently, the data will be deleted in accordance with data protection regulations, which entails their blocking, remaining available only to requests from Judges and Courts, the Ombudsman, the Public Prosecutor’s Office or the competent Public Administrations during the statutory limitation period of any actions that may arise. Once this period has elapsed, the data will be permanently deleted.

  • Identification data: first name and surname(s), postal address, telephone number, email.

However, as this is a communication channel, the data subject may include other types of personal data in their message when providing their opinion or asking questions or making comments.

What is the legal basis for using your data?

The legal bases for processing personal data are:

  • On the one hand, the explicit consent given by the data subject when they accept this privacy policy before submitting their personal data through the contact form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
