This Saturday, April 25, residents and visitors in Nuevo Baztán are invited to enjoy a unique blend of history and gastronomy. The Centro de Interpretación de Nuevo Baztán presents a new session of “Goyenechef: A Journey into the Enlightenment through its Cuisine.”
These workshops explore the culinary traditions brought to the Spanish court by foreign queens during the 18th century. This free activity offers a fascinating insight into how people dined in the time of Juan de Goyeneche.
On this occasion, the workshop focuses on Isabella Farnese. Participants will discover the Italian influences of the period by preparing and tasting two classic dishes: Tagliatelle al ragù and Trippa alla Parmigiana.
The session begins with a theoretical introduction and historical context led by Miguel Ángel Almodóvar, followed by a hands-on cooking experience with Juan Manuel Calero, and concludes with a tasting of the prepared dishes.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The meeting point is the Centro de Interpretación de Nuevo Baztán (Calle del Arco, 1). Participation is open to individuals aged 12 and over.
