The Culture Department has organised this new edition of the Book Fair with the idea that our streets become a meeting point for writers, publishers, bookshops, illustrators and all the professionals connected to the world of books and culture. Stalls will be located in the gardens of Plaza de la Iglesia, opposite Juan de Goyeneche Palace. Other activities will take place in Plaza del Secreto, and presentations and book signings will be held in the inner courtyard of the Palace. The Fair will open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and close at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

During the 3RD NUEVO BAZTÁN BOOK FAIR we will have the chance to get closer to the authors. Presentations will be held in an exclusive reserved area in the courtyard of Juan de Goyeneche Palace. From early Saturday morning there will be presentations.

On Saturday morning, Marta Sebastián, Sergio García Esteban, Bohodon Publishing, Celeste Gomes and Daniel Piniella will present their works. In the afternoon from 4:00 p.m. there will be Asociación Poética Cervantina, Guillermina de Tomás, Cristina García Aparicio, Elisa Rodríguez, Conchi Aragón, Gabriel Herranz and Elena Tabachkova. On Sunday, Alberto Blanco, Cristina Sánchez, Daniel Piniella and Mónica Parramón will present their books.

In the garden of Plaza de la Iglesia there will be 20 exhibitors who have already confirmed their attendance. Stalls will be open from 11:00 a.m. on Saturday until 9:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

And of course, throughout the Fair there will be different activities for all visitors. On Saturday, a storytelling session by Maribel Domínguez at 5:00 p.m., and at 8:00 p.m. a poetry and narrative recital in the Palace Gardens. On Sunday we will open at 11:00 a.m. with a children’s storytelling session by Mari Carmen González and more surprises during the morning. From 1:15 p.m. the prizes of the Literary Contest promoted by the Culture Department and the Association La Goyenesca will be awarded.
