In a few days, the 46th edition of the Javierada of the Navarrese to Nuevo Baztán will arrive. As always, it will be on a Sunday. This year, on 9 March, with religious and festive events. It will start at 11:30 with the traditional Stations of the Cross. Afterwards, the Mass in honour of Saint Francis Xavier will begin at 13:00. It will be held in Plaza del Secreto. Afterwards we will go to “La Campa”, where we will share lunch and take part in the pilgrimage until we say goodbye until next year. 

 

The organisers of the events, the Royal Congregation of San Fermín of the Navarrese, appeal to the common sense of all attendees, as both the Congregation and the Town Council do not wish this religious festival to be linked to any activity, act, demonstration or celebration with any political or protest tone. This celebration, and especially the popular meal at “La Campa”, is open to anyone who wishes to spend a festive, cheerful time of fraternity. This is not the place or the moment for any political demonstration or representation, of any kind.
