Gastronomy is a key element in promoting and developing tourism. Travellers look for authentic experiences that let them discover the essence of a place through its flavours, local products and culinary traditions. This coming Saturday, 21 June, the BUS ROADSHOW experience arrives in Nuevo Baztán and will be located in Plaza del Secreto. This is a free, open-access activity.

In our town a ROADSHOW will be set up where you can get information about the Gastronomic Days, as well as tourist information about the municipalities and the Las Vegas and Madrid Alcarria region. In addition, there will be tastings and samplings of the region’s “km 0” (local) products. The bus has capacity for 20 people and throughout the day different workshops and product tastings will take place.

• 12:00–21:00: honey-making and tasting by La Abeja Campeña (Campo Real)
• 12:00–15:00: olive oil tasting by Aceites Pósito (Villarejo de Salvanés)
• 16:00–20:00: wine tasting by Bodegas Pablo Morate (Valdelaguna)

This activity has already visited Morata de Tajuña, Ciempozuelos, Perales de Tajuña, Colmenar de Oreja, Villarejo de Salvanés, Chinchón and Valdilecha. It ends in our town as one of the key activities on 21 June, alongside our Mercado de Palacio and Romantic Night.
