The Nuevo Baztán Town Council continues to improve the municipality’s appearance and functionality through its Beautification Plan. Over the coming weeks, and as long as weather conditions allow, work will be stepped up at several strategic points to enhance the welcome image of the town and recover spaces of historical and natural value. 

One of the pillars of this phase is the intervention at the northern entrance. The works focus on beautifying this main gateway, aiming to create a better cared-for and more attractive environment for both residents and visitors entering the town. 

As part of these actions, the refurbishment of the public fountain located between Camino del Boleo and Senda Valmores stands out. The works include not only its aesthetic restoration, but also bringing it back into operation, thus recovering an emblematic meeting point for walkers and residents who enjoy our natural surroundings. 

Modernisation is also reaching water resource management. In the area around the motorhome parking area, an intelligent irrigation system is being installed. This technological improvement will allow much more efficient water management, ensuring optimal maintenance of the area. 

More recycled urban furniture will also be installed, along with a drinking fountain for pets and visitors. 

In addition, this will be complemented by replanting native species, strengthening local biodiversity and ensuring that the landscape remains integrated with the area’s ecosystem.
