October 1st is here, and we join the call for action of the more than 100 villages that make up this association.

On the occasion of Spain’s Most Beautiful Villages Day, held every October 1st, Nuevo Baztán Town Council joins the association’s manifesto—a collective appeal to defend our villages, their heritage, culture and surroundings, and especially the people who bring our rural communities to life.

Below, we share the Manifesto of October 1st, 2026, which highlights the need to continue working towards villages with a future, offering services, opportunities, culture, nature and quality of life.
