Interpretation Center of Nuevo Baztán

Description

Opened in 2003, it is installed in the old wine boiling room of the Palace's Wineries. Its purpose is to introduce the public to the figure of Juan de Goyeneche, the evolution of enlightened urbanism and the growth of the nucleus, as well as the factories that developed in this town and the main preserved elements.
The boiling room, with a rectangular floor plan, is located under the press on the upper level, from which the freshly pressed wine would flow through the ceramic pipes in the walls directly to the clay jars to start the wine fermentation process.

The entrance has been modified but you can still see the simple west access with sardinel brick where the workers would enter, and the monumental south access that provided access to the carts. In the corner, the ornamental cart saver that prevented damage to the carts at the corners.
