Church Square
Description
Located in front of the main facade of the Palace, it retained its baroque layout until the 19th century, framing the perspective of the main facade of the Church and the Palace.
On both sides of the main facade, to give the ensemble a U-shape, the houses of the administrators and trusted staff of Goyeneche were located in his absence.
With a typically Madrid appearance and Austrian typology, they consist of two-story houses with a backyard and black slate roof with dormers in the purest traditional style. Today, some of these houses are part of municipal buildings, a rural house, a restaurant, and private homes.
