Barley Square

Last square of the urban complex, which shows the deterioration in its architectural design, whose function was to house the farmers' and ranchers' homes, as well as the space where animals and farming tools were kept. It presents a significant difference in planning compared to the center of the complex, visible through the loss of balconies, window grilles, and the reduction in the size of the houses, reflecting the hierarchical society typical of the 18th century.  

This square or courtyard emerged spontaneously and not deliberately, as the six houses of those who worked in the fields were built. A large arch can be observed in the back wall, visible from the other side, which was the direct access to the farmland and the road to Valverde de Alcalá.
